If you have a question we haven't answered on the site, let us know! Your message will go to the appropriate member of our team for a response. If this is a request for a facility visit, please fill out the facility name and location fields.

Before submitting a request, please read through our Frequently Asked Questions:

1.    We are a group comprised of individual volunteers who are registered with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, an international therapy dog registry.  We are all volunteers and never charge money for visits.

2.    We are all volunteers, and we are limited by the availability of our volunteers.  Unless it is an emergency, we ask for at least two weeks’ notice to arrange scheduling.  Due to a large number of requests, we prefer at least a month’s notice during the last week of April and the first two weeks of May and December.

3.     We only accept requests from persons authorized to act on behalf of the facility, group, or school/campus.

a.     All facility requests must be approved by the facility’s administrative staff such as the administrator, activity director, or life enrichment coordinator.

b.     All school requests must be approved by school administration such as the principal, vice-principal, librarian, or school counselor.

c.     All college visits should be scheduled with the approval or permission of the requesting department (residence hall, student life unit, library, or academic department).

d.      Hospital visits need to be arranged through the hospital’s Volunteer Services department.

4.    We will consider visiting individuals in their private home on a case-by-case basis.

5.    We do not train nor provide service dogs or emotional support dogs.  Please see the chart below that describes the differences between therapy dogs, service dogs, and emotional support dogs.

6.    We appreciate you thinking of us, but we do not accept donated dogs.

7.    We do not accept unsolicited offers for any fundraising or social media assistance.
